Relics of Entangled Blooms: Across Land and Time

Darlene Farris-LaBar is the chair of the art department at ESU. She has a BFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from the School of Art and Design at SUNY, Purchase College.

This exhibit showcases a collection of 3D printed floral sculptures, CNC-carved topographical works, tapestries, and two-dimensional works that in the artist’s words “investigate the interconnected nature of botanical life across shifting environments and temporal boundaries. The exhibition reimagines flowers as relics, not of loss, but of forms that carry embedded histories, ecological relationships, and future possibilities.”
