A solo show of the landscapes of Jean Benfante

Opening Reception: Friday, May 23 from 7-9pm

Regular gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday from 1-5. The show runs through June 8. Jean will be in the gallery on June 8 as well to talk about her work.

Jean is a prolific artist whose landscapes range from detailed observations of nature in acrylic (above or conscious in her words) to semi-abstract dream-scapes (below or subconscious in her words).

Jean has a BFA from the Tyler School of Art.

Join us for the opening reception of our group show featuring views of the Delaware Water Gap scene, including views of the DWG National Recreation Area, the borough of DWG, and the Jazz scene centered on the gap. Awards will be announced at about 8pm

Geological History of the DWG

Colliding Continents: The Geological History of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

John Jengo, a geologist from Downingtown, PA, will give a presentation on the geological history of the DWGNRA. Jon has 40 years of experience in geology, hydrogeology, environmental remediation, and dam removals.

Friday September 20 from 7-8 PM in the gallery

Ken Metcalf, a member of the Knowlton Township Historic Commission, will give a presentation on the history of the timber rafting period on the Upper and Lower Delaware River.
