Driven by a profound desire to bring people together through art, Natt envisions a safe space where artistic expression transcends boundaries of race, religion, sexual orientation, and beyond. They are the esteemed co-founder of Create & Be Art Studio, located in the heart of Stroudsburg, PA, a diverse space for artists and creatives to come together and indulge in art activities, events, andview and share art. With relentless dedication, they curate an environment where creativity flourishes, and individuals are encouraged to embrace their true artistic potential. Natt also has a love for black popular culture.

Artist Statement: 

Art creates a safe space for me to heal. The brushstrokes and the smells of the oils allow me to meditate, observe, and let thoughts pass through without judgment. The process of creating the art itself becomes more enjoyable than the outcome. In this exhibition, I reveal a few of my newest pieces from a new series titled ‘The Evolution of Natt,’ which deals with healing past trauma through painting family photos. Alongside these, I showcase some of my past favorites, such as ‘The Wizard of Woo’ and ‘Emerald City & Grace Jones,’ created between 2021 and 2023.
